By Train

From the airport, the shuttle service People Mover will take you directly to Pisa Centrale railway station. The service is operated from the airport from 4:30 am to 1:30 am and runs every 5 to 8 minutes.

When in Pisa Centrale, you can catch the train to Lucca.The ride is around 30 minutes.

From Lucca Centrale railway station to the IMT / Palazzo Busdraghi, it takes:

  • 15 mn walking
  • 10 mn by bus
  • 9 mn by taxi

By Bus (recommended)

By Train

From Firenze Airport to Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station, the best option is now take the tramway, Line T2.

It takes alwmost 2 hours Santa Maria Novella to Lucca and the train is not direct. You will have to change train at least once.

  • 10 mn by bus
  • 9 mn by taxi
