ELRA members include institutions (academic groups and research laboratories) and companies (industrial and commercial organisations) from all over the world (nearly all the countries of the European Union are represented) and individual (researchers, users of LRs, etc.)

The institutional members of the Association are legal entities working in the field of science and technology of language. These legal entities may belong to both public and private sectors. Institutional membership is acquired with the payment of a minimum one year’s subscription. The term of institutional membership is at least one full calendar year. It starts on January 1st and ends on December 31st, regardless of the time of subscription.
